24x7 Event Server is a powerful tool to monitor and automate the applications in your PC and system like, for example, the administration of a LAN or the system processes, the processing and monitoring of backups, monitoring events as a security measure, etc.

In a brief summary, the events you can monitor and automate are: alterations produced in a database, start/end of Dial-up type connections, changes to the free space in your hard drive, variations to the size/date of a file, errors produced in the Dr.Watson, attempts to delete a file, sending of an email/fax that has been sent automatically, modifications to the Windows Registry without consent, etc.

Also, from 24x7 Event Server you can activate/deactivate the screensaver, access another PC remotely (via FTP, Telnet, HTTP, etc), shut down the PC, change the login of the actual user, etc.
